Boards & Forums can be accessed from the menu above -- the forums included in your membership will appear below the heading.  (If you don't see the Pro Board, you're either not a Pro member or not logged in.)

These forums replace the bulletin boards from the former site.  While some forums may be visible to the public, membership is required to post and comment, and some forums are reserved for our Pro members only.  Please maintain our Listerhood code, which insists upon professional behavior and mutual respect. 

Need to post something? 

There is no charge to post listings or events, and membership is not required.  If you'd like to support the List as a thank-you, please consider a Community Membership.  (Click "Join us" at the top of any page to learn more.)

Job listings and auditions for paid positions should go to the Pro Board - you'll need an approved and current Pro Membership to view and add to this board.  But you can always send us your info and we'll post it for you!

A wider variety of opportunities can be posted to The Listerhood, our community group on Facebook. This group replaces and expands the Open Calls board and is somewhat screened, but includes a broader range of training and experience, so please consider where you'd like your listing to appear.  Join the group with or without a membership (after a simple screening process to make sure you're real), or send us your post.

You WILL need a Facebook account in order to access this group.

Events such as concerts, opera, and workshops go to the Lister Calendar, our events calendar for the community. Click "Submit Event" at the top and you can set it up as you wish. All event submissions are moderated - you'll be notified once your listing has been processed.  Auditions should be posted to our Facebook group or the Pro Board, NOT the calendar.

Contact us if you need help -- we'd be happy to post auditions, job listings and announcements for you.  

Members — Subscribe for updates

The automated forum subscriptions will replace the manually-built email updates for our members, e.g. DayLinks and Connections.  Be sure to click the "Subscribe" button for each forum you're interested in if you'd like to get nightly email notifications of the day's activity.  We do attempt to post new items every day.

You can subscribe to any forum while you have access to it -- that subscription will remain in effect as long as your membership remains active, or unless you cancel through the "Email subscriptions" tab in your member profile.

CANCELING A FORUM SUBSCRIPTION


This easy automation allows us to focus on bringing in more opportunities and building good things for you, rather than spending several hours a week creating updates.  Our regular newsletters, such as Next 7 and a new weekly member newsletter, will continue as usual. 

Non-members can make sure they're on our public mailing list by signing up through Constant Contact -- click "Sign up for e-news" in the upper left-hand corner of any page on this site.
